This workshop will demonstrate the different forms of publishing using the World-Wide Web, and take the participants through the basic process of using the internet to collect the necessary tools and materials, and then building a new web site from scratch using a web editor.
There will be demonstrations of more advanced web editors, programs,
plugins and techniques to achieve better interactivity and incorporate
more forms of media, so that participants can see what is and
isn't possible.
Audience: People with relatively good familiarity using a Macintosh
or Windows computer to browse the web, move files and at least
some familiarity with a word processor.
